You can make the trashcan visible on the desktop by running: gsettings set org.gnome.nautilus.desktop trash-icon-visible true (see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/PreciseGnomeClassicTweaks)
In a gnome-fallback session, the trashcan icon may be added to the panel by ALT + right click on the panel -> "add to panel..." -> select the trashcan (see http://askubuntu.com/questions/58172/how-to-revert-to-gnome-classic) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/969657 Title: No way to empty trash in gnome-fallback To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-panel/+bug/969657/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
