Yes, this bug is still present in the latest update that updated the kernel
to 3.2.0-35-generic-pae lately.

Each time ubuntu updates kernel, the laptop looses wireless connection.
the fix is:

cd /usr/src/compat-wireless-3.6.2-1
sudo make
sudo make install
sudo reboot

This resolves the problem until next time ubuntu installs an update with
a broken driver.

Regards,

Gullik
