Hi Christopher, I really do appreciate your assistance but I have tried a number of these kernels and we are getting no where. I am seriously considering going back to 12.04.
Laptop suspend is an essential function and it is disappointing that it continually breaks with each new release. There are alot of users (on many different machines) experiencing the same problem. In my case, my keyboard backlighting is also not working. I also don't understand why this bug is still tagged as incomplete. What do I have to do to make it complete? Many thanks, Damian. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1079940 Title: [Sony VAIO VPCS137GG] Laptop suspend fails To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1079940/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
