The Gazebo robotics simulation is working very slowly on my Thinkpad X220 with Intel graphics and this is probably due to the same problem. Ubuntu version is 12.04.
As pointed out to me, the important information here is in glxinfo (full info attached) : "client glx vendor string: Mesa Project and SGI" Kernel version 3.2.0-34-generic is no better, I have done dist-upgrade and tried reinstalling mesa-utils. This bug seems to affect many people and in my case, it affects very badly my work progress. Unfortunately the tools I need to use are tied to a specific Ubuntu version. ** Attachment added: "glxinfot.txt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/999493/+attachment/3479054/+files/glxinfot.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/999493 Title: Intel graphics drivers slow off-screen rendering in Precise Pangolin To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/999493/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
