I've been informed by David at Canonical that this testing cannot be
done on a 12.04 Live CD and that it has to be done on an installed box
and that is why I received the above errors. This is problematic for me
because I don't have another spare box sitting around that I can install
12.04 on. I also can't spare any of the drive on my existing machine to
enable a dual boot possibility with 12.04. This issue was opened on
12.10 nearly 3 months ago and I am not concerned with whether it runs
successfully on 12.04. I only really care that it works on 12.10 which
is what the original ticket was opened on.

Is there any real harm with releasing it? It will probably work because
you guys are really good. And if it doesn't, it certainly can't make
the wired network on this machine any worse because it already doesn't
work.

Please advise. Thank You.
