Public bug reported: I was using virt-viewer fine in 12.04, and the server (running 10.04) has not been upgraded.
virsh -c qemu+ssh://myserver/system list works and shows Id Name State ---------------------------------------------------- 4 myvm running but virt-viewer -c qemu+ssh://myserver/system myvm opens a black window, pauses 2 seconds then closes it with no error message. The server shows two SSH connections that are then closed. When I run the same command on the server, it works fine. I'm using virt-viewer 0.5.3-1 on the 12.10 client. Is the virt-viewer in 12.10 incompatible with 10.04 Server? Is there any other debugging I can do? ** Affects: virt-viewer (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1098509 Title: virt-viewer window to 10.04 Server closes immediately in 12.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/virt-viewer/+bug/1098509/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
