Time stamps used to be preserved for me with KDE 4.6 (openSUSE 11.4) when copying files with Krusader over SFTP from or to a local directory, except when using the Synchronize Directories Tool. After upgrading to KDE 4.8 the time stamps are no longer preserved even when uploading over SFTP from a panel.
