Public bug reported: The directory I use for LibreOffice documents, "Libreoffice," is symlinked from another partition into ~/Documents. When I open the Tools - Options - LibreOffice - Paths and click on My Documents and then Edit..., and try to select ~/Libreoffice, when I click "Ok," the selection returns to ~/, which is NOT what I want.
This is the case for ALL the subdirectories within the symlinked Libreoffice directory, which means LO never finds eg, my templates. This very frustrating bug has been in LO for the last six months at least. I am sure I joined a bug report back then but it's disappeared. libreoffice-writer 1:3.6.2~rc2-0ubuntu4 on Ubuntu 12.10 as well as 12.04.1 ** Affects: libreoffice (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1099116 Title: LibreOffice will not let me choose a symlinked directory in Paths options To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/1099116/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
