Yes, 2.6.32 is ok.  I'd like to see if there was an Ubuntu SAUCE patch that 
fixes this bug and was dropped in 2.6.37-12.26 and if this bug exists in Lucid. 
 The name of the kernel file on that page is:
linux-image-2.6.32-45-generic_2.6.32-45.102_amd64.deb
