It looks like it is...you might want to give the following code a try to
see if you can suspend after disabling async suspend for the scsi
target:

echo disabled > 
/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:0e.0/ata1/host0/target0:0:0/power/async
echo mem > /sys/power/state
