Public bug reported:

On Ubuntu 12.10, when someone talks to me in Empathy, her name is listed
in the messaging menu. However, searching through the HUD does not turn
up her name, like it did in 12.04.

(And I'm not sure if it's related, but the blue envelope turns white if
I open the HUD. I don't know if this also applies to other indicators or
has to do with the menu being deactivated when the HUD is open.)
