Public bug reported:

To support investigation of a battery depletion bug:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1098697

I was requested to install and try upstream Kernel v3.8-rc3-raring. This
error happened during the install on my HP ENVY 6 1006sa Sleekbook
running Ubuntu 12.10 (Unity). My Sleekbook has an AMD Radeon HD 7500G
graphics so I had installed the fglrx-amdcccle-updates driver.
