Public bug reported:

The client package needs python to work, but it's not an explicit
dependency.

root@toad:/# /usr/share/squid-deb-proxy-client/apt-avahi-discover
bash: /usr/share/squid-deb-proxy-client/apt-avahi-discover: /usr/bin/python:
bad interpreter: No such file or directory

to reproduce:

1) debootstrap raring raring/
2) chroot raring apt-get install ubuntu-standard
3) chroot raring apt-get install squid-deb-proxy-client
4) /usr/share/squid-deb-proxy-client/apt-avahi-discover

** Affects: squid-deb-proxy (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
