This problem affects me on my Dell Precision M4700 running Ubuntu 12.04. I also noticed for the first time yesterday that I could not disable networking to see if that fixed the problem.
I am happy to help diagnose this in any way you like, but am not sure certain what to do. Should I download the amd64 packages from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.6-quantal/ and simply install them? The Installing mainline build section here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/MainlineBuilds?action=show&redirect=KernelMainlineBuilds suggests I need a source package as well, which I do not see. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1059350 Title: Failure to suspend due to ethernet controller To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1059350/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
