Errr, no, oprofiled is a daemon that runs as root. It absolutely should
not store it's config in /root/. If upstream defaults to that, we
should fix it. That's what Debian/Ubuntu packaging is about. If you
still disagee, I invite you to show me any other daemon that stores it's
config file in /root/.
