Public bug reported:
Fresh install of Xubuntu on a Mac mini G4. Pidgin starts up and allows
adding of accounts and logging in fine. However, as soon as I send a
message to one of my contacts it segfaults. The same issue occurs with
Precise's version of Pidgin.
