Attached is a valgrind log of console-kit-daemon, using G_SLICE=always- malloc (of course) and G_DEBUG=gc-friendly. Not sure how to interpret it, yet. Interestingly, when run under valgrind the process reports a lot less memory usage in 'ps -o size'.
