Public bug reported:

It appears that the kernel used in Feisty has a bug (based on this LKML thread:
http://www.ussg.iu.edu/hypermail/linux/kernel/0702.3/1351.html), which
can cause some issues if you have a drive in your raid array go off to pasture.

In particular, if you try and run the array without full parity ( 1 drive down
in RAID5 or 2 in RAID6), the system will panic under light load. The data is
all intact. Booting off an earlier
kernel (e.g. Edgy server CD), and replacing the drive resolves the issue.

I've encountered this in 2.6.19-4-server (the Xen kernel), as well as
2.6.20-15-generic, when my 4 drive RAID5 array, went down to three
drives (I have yet to test if drive 4 actually went bad, or the array
just got out of whack.. rather than take chances, I just replaced the
drive ).

** Affects: Ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
