I tried to use the patch_realtek.c and hda_proc.C from the mentioned ALSA site and patched my driver and installed it. But i used the gutsy 2.6.22-8 kernel I can see the mixer but I can't hear any sound. Also realtek10.tar.gz and realtek11.tar.gz both contained just patch_realtek.c I thought one was supposed to contain hda_proc.C Could anyone suggest me the steps and what should I do to undo what I did and redo it all over again. Did anyone upgrade the jernel and check it? Thanks
