Public bug reported:
Recently I installed xubuntu 12.10 which uses of course the Webbrowser
to open html-files.
In the end "Webbrowser" opens firefox, but obviously not directly,
because if I try to open html-files which contain spaces in the filename
itself or somewhere in the path "Webbrowser" (Firefox) tries to open the
single words/strings separately.
E.g. if you try to open the file "this is a test file.htm" from your
home dir webbrowser will open the following tabs:
file:///home/{USERNAME}/this
http://www.is.com/
http://www.a.com/
http://www.test.com/
http://www.file.htm/
(If your path is longer with mor spaces, you'll have a lot more tabs)
If you tell (x)ubuntu to open the file directly with firefox
everything's fine. And if you use Opera as "Webbrowser" everything's OK,
too.
