Fedora has gvfs 1.15 (http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=5487) while Quantal has 1.14, which has been rapidly deleted on Fedora. I have not time to dig this more, but, if there is a PPA with a 1.15 build, I am available to test it out.
