Can you try editing /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.dhcpd and add: "network packet raw,"
Below the current: "network packet packet," Then do: /etc/init.d/apparmor reload And see if it now works as expected (successful start and no more apparmor DENIED in dmesg). If this works, I'll include the profile change in the next upload. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1107686 Title: dhcpd: Open a socket for LPF: Permission denied To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/isc-dhcp/+bug/1107686/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
