Public bug reported:
Have used ubuntu from 10.0.x right through 11.0.x with no problems.
Always had 30-50 Mbps download speeds. Have a 75 MB connection.
After the upgrade the wifi no longer works adequately and download
speeds are around 4.5 Mbps (normal would be 50-60).
Additionally, after startup the mouse pointer drags like its stuck in
molasses for about 3 to 4 minutes and makes the laptop unusuable.
Eventually recovers and I can used the mouse again. Affects pointer
pad, red tracking button and external mouse.

Description: Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS
Release: 12.04
Tried all the workarounds I could find on the internet but no luck thus
far.
Would have to revert to older unsupported versions if we can't find a
workaround for this.
