I too, can confirm that this is an Ubuntu-specific issue. I just booted
to a Fedora Live CD, installed evolution-rss on it, and imported my
feeds. Then I went through various feeds, without any issues whatsoever.
On my Ubuntu 12.10 amd64 build, I can only navigate  a plain-text only
feed (TuxMobil), otherwise Evolution crashes.

In fact, when adding feeds, it crashed as soon as it tried
adding/refreshing one of my html feeds. So most of my feeds never showed
up in my list.
