Does anyone know if this also occurs with the 3.5 kernel or just 3.6 and 3.7?
Jos Poortvliet (from openSUSE) has an article about his install of opensuse with samsung-laptop and UEFI: http://blog.jospoortvliet.com/2012/09/linux-and-samsung- series-9-np900x3c.html He has zero issues with booting but he's on the 3.5 kernel. So it made me wonder if the issue isn't just samsung-laptop but maybe something between that and a change to the kernel? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1040557 Title: UEFI boot live-usb bricks SAMSUNG 530U3C,np700z5c laptop To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-cdimage/+bug/1040557/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
