Christopher M. Penalver, no improvement over the A07 BIOS. After reading the upgrade notes it did not seem that any of the changes to the BIOS were targeted at improving USB3 performance, so this is not too surprising.
To summarise, using the A05 BIOS the Logitech receiver does not work at all unless I implement the 'mousefix'. Using the A07 BIOS the receiver works intermittently on first boot, but often successfully boots after a small number of replugs. Using the A09 BIOS (as I have done for a few weeks) has not made any noticeable difference over and above the A07 BIOS performance w.r.t.
