Public bug reported:

CH Products USB Yoke and Pedals are recognized and correctly identified
by name, but there is no output (axes or switches) from either under
kernel 2.6.20-generic (either -15 or -16). However, using 2.6.20-386
they work fine. Tests were run using generic jstest and jscal and
FlightGear js_demo and fgjs. jscal reports all axis "lines are broken"
with -generic, but -386 works as expected including actually flying
FlightGear.

Also noted but probably unrelated: -generic loads ATI proprietary
drivers properly, but -386 does not. It is necessary to disable driver,
restart, re-enable drive, restart to get 3D acceleration to work under
-386.

** Affects: Ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
