Public bug reported:
The first time you launch clementine on a freshly booted system and
click "play" on a song the program crashes. If you reopen clementine, it
works as expected. The crash only occurs the first time you open the
program after booting the system.
I'm not sure where clementine stores it's own logs, the only thing
related I could find is a syslog entry from pulse audio:
Feb 5 22:47:30 hobbiton pulseaudio[2205]: [pulseaudio] conf-parser.c:
[/usr/share/applications/clementine.desktop:18] Invalid section header.
Feb 5 22:47:30 hobbiton pulseaudio[2205]: [pulseaudio]
module-augment-properties.c: Failed to parse .desktop file
/usr/share/applications/clementine.desktop.
Line 18 of clementine.desktop is:
[Play Shortcut Group]
it seems pulseaudio has a problem with the Unity quicklists headers in
the .desktop file? So far as I've observed, clementine seems to be the
only music player that has this problem.
If you need any more info, let me know :)
