I don't know what that guy said but..

There are a couple things I did.

First Thing was edit /etc/modprob.d adding line: 
       options snd-hda-intel model=hp-m4

Added it to the last line

>From here, I rebuilt pulseaudio to help configure the sound driver:
      sudo apt-get install libasound2-plugins "pulseaudio-*"
