I am using the same version from quantal-updates
bhavani@bhavani-spagetti-monster:~$ apt-cache policy ppa-purge

and the problem seems to be recurring on my system when I try to remove
ppa:canonical-qt5-edgers/qt5-beta1
I get:

So it appears the bug has still not fixed for me
Kindly request you to correct me if I'm wrong somewhere
