Kupfer stopped to offer results provided by the Applications plugin. In
debug mode I get the following error messages:

Nothing seems to go wrong before that.
I created a new user account and the problem went away. However, I tried
deleting `~/.config/kupfer`, `~/.cache/kupfer`, and
`~/.local/share/applications` from my the home directory of my main
account and the problem remained. I do not have a folder called
`~/.local/share/kupfer`.
What else can I do get to the bottom of this?
Ubuntu 12.10, Kupfer v208
