Hi Roger, if you saw "nobody cared about irq 16" after the same boot you made the above printing, then you have problem with your USB controller too. I am going to launch Ubuntu Live CD 10.04 with kernel 2.6.x to check IRQ handling with those kernels. Will share results here. Regards
