Public bug reported:
There is no easy way to modify appearance of app launchers (icons, text)
or even add a new app into the app pool.
Years ago gnome panel had alacarte as a right click option to edit the
launchers.
For new users it is impossible to guess that they need to install
alacarte to modify icons. Google even leeds them to modify .desktop
files directly in their home directory. That is sad.
It is the year 2013, please make it possible to do these actions easily
from the unity panel.
