Seems to be (still) a problem on Nautilus 3.6.3: if you cancel a file copy, the unfinished file is left over in the destination folder (without any indication the file is not complete). The upstram bug seems very old (targetting version 2.16.x), I'll try to reopen it on the 3.x branch, and reasign the bug here.
