Oleg: you can install our hardware enablement kernel in Precise by installing the package linux-generic-lts-quantal:
$ sudo apt-get install linux-generic-lts-quantal Note that you will still need to enable the -proposed pocket to test a kernel with this issue fixed (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed).
