@Ben, please note that marking a bug "security" does not make it
private. I tried to make the bug private for you, but Launchpad
reported:

The bug will become invisible because there
is no-one with permissions to see Private bugs.
If you want to make the bug invisible, feel free, but be aware that it
might prevent others from working on it.
"security" should be used for publicly known flaws that allow crossing
privilege boundaries. "private security" is for flaws not-yet-publicly-
known that allow crossing privilege boundaries.
