Public bug reported:
1) Ubuntu 12.10
2) gnome-control-center 3.6.3-0ubuntu11~ubuntu12.10.1
3) I want all build in/connected cursor moving devices (touchpad, mouse,
external touchpads etc.) to be configured seperately like it's possible with
gpointing-device-settings. The before mentioned package does't work propperly
with Ubuntu anymore (changes aren't persistent #489830) and isn't updated
anymore so it would be nice to have these features directly in the control
center.
Please add an option to configure all input mouses/touchpads/etc. seperately.
I'm not sure about design guidelines but this could be sorted by tabs for every
device that's connected. Also settings for every device should be saved
somewhere so when you connect an external device the next time the settings
should be restored.
4) On my Lenovo laptop I have a Lenovo trackpad and a touchpad, and I
often use an external mouse or an Apple Magic Trackpad. At the moment in
Ubuntu it's not possible to configure them all seperately considering
the different natures of the mentioned input devices.
** Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu)
