  Thermal zone 3 : ok, 43 C
  Thermal zone 4 : ok, 31 C
  Thermal zone 5 : ok, 0 C
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/home/user#

in this state i have: "no fan, no noise"

then just 2 seconds later

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/home/deepa# acpitool
  Battery #2 : charged, 97.44%
  AC adapter : on-line
  Thermal zone 1 : ok, 56 C
  Thermal zone 2 : ok, 52 C
  Thermal zone 3 : ok, 43 C
  Thermal zone 4 : ok, 31 C
  Thermal zone 5 : ok, 80 C
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/home/user#

in this state i have "full speed fan"

then after 5 seconds:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/home/deepa# acpitool
Battery #2 : charged, 97.44%
  AC adapter : on-line
  Thermal zone 1 : ok, 55 C
  Thermal zone 2 : ok, 56 C
  Thermal zone 3 : ok, 49 C
  Thermal zone 4 : ok, 32 C
  Thermal zone 5 : ok, 0 C
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/home/user#
and again in this state i have: "no fan, no noise"

i can set the trip_point successfully but it do not change this strange
behaviour of "Thermal zone 5" wich is jumping very fast from cold (0 C
!) to hot and back again in just a second, wich is physical not
possible.

who can i switch of "Thermal zone 5" ?

regards peter
