Meanwhile, in the nm-manager application, there is /clearly/ a saved
password.   I have tried clicking and unclicking the "available to all
users", toggling ignore ipv6, and setting connection manually versus
automatically.  Still, the connection drops every 5-10 min and asks for
a password that it already has stored.

This started maybe 3 weeks ago?
