I don't think this is a duplicate of [bug
#965492](https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/965492). With this bug, the
entire user interface becomes completely unresponsive, with no
indication that anything is happening; even the *System Load Indicator*
stops updating. The system is unresponsive until the Dash eventually
appears. It only happens the first time the Dash is opened after a
login, or resuming from a suspend.
