Public bug reported:
My iMac has a Broadcom Corporation BCM4322 802.11a/b/g/n Wireless LAN
Controller (rev 01)
This controller was correctly detected and managed by Ubuntu 12.10 from
the liveCD, and I could use Wifi.
But with the current Linux kernel 3.5.0-23.35, this controller is NOT
detected, and I can NOT use Wifi.
In the 'Software Sources' application, the 'Additional Drivers' tab displays :
Broadcom Corporation: BCM4322 802.11a/b/g/n Wireless LAN Controller
This device is using an alternative driver.
Using Broadcom 802.11 Linux STA wireless driver source from
bcmwl-kernel-source (proprietary)
I suppose that the Linux kernel 3.5.0-23.35 does NOT activate this
driver (see log below).
Thank you in advance for investigating.
