Public bug reported: In the 'preferences' menu of Lubuntu most applications are listed according to what they do ('power manager' , 'monitor settings'), not according to the name of the package. This is the preferred way, used by all major operative systems.
Listing an app by its name (in this case, 'Lxkeymap') does not help the user unless he already knows what the app does. A beginner would not guess that this is the menu point for switching between languages. I suggest changing the title to 'Keyboard language' or similar. ** Affects: lxkeymap (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: In the 'preferences' menu of Lubuntu most applications are listed according to what they do ('power manager' , 'monitor settings'), not - according to their name.
