Public bug reported:
When an update requires extra dependencies the update-manager gui fails
to recognize this and fails to upgrade the package. This is likely due
to it calling "apt-get upgrade" as opposed to "apt-get upgrade -f". Of
course, the "-f" flag to be automatically enabled would be a bad idea. I
would suggest a GUI window be presented which states that "In order for
<package_name> to be upgraded, the following dependencies must also be
installed: <dependency_list> Do you want to install the required
dependencies and upgrade the package?"
