Public bug reported:

Hi,
I’ve just pressed [Alt]+[Tab] to switch window in GNome-shell. As always a
“window” with all my openned window appears, it’s just that once I’ve selected
the window I wanted, the [Alt]+[Tab] “window” did not closed.
See image as attachment. Note that I no longer press any button on the
keyboard. (It was quite a pain to write this bug repport, by the way).

If I try to retype [Atl]+[Tab], another “window” appears in addition
(and recursively), but those additionnal “window” can be “cancelled” by
re-clicking on them (but they do not switch window).

I’m sorry to say that Gnome-shell is the most beautiful desktop manager I’ve
ever seen, but also the buggiest one (and I’ve used an unstable version of
Compiz once!), in addition to be one of the slowest.
Martin, that hopes one day a new Gnome-shell will be writen from scratch…
without the bugs.
