I'm sorry, I don't understand. YesI know how to open a terminal window and I understand that you would like me to type in that command.
This is what I get in return: "Authorize application to access Launchpad on your behalf Confirm Computer Access The Ubuntu computer called Lappy wants access to your Launchpad account. If you allow this, every application running on Lappy will have read- write access to your Launchpad account, including to your private data. If you're using a public computer, if Lappy is not the computer you're using right now, or if something just doesn't feel right about this situation, you should choose "Do Not Allow 'Lappy' to Access my Launchpad Account", or close this window now. You can always try again later. Even if you decide to give Lappy access to your Launchpad account, you can change your mind later." As you can probably guess I don't feel quite right about this so I am going to choose "Do not allow 'Lappy' to access my launchpad' - Why because I don't know what it is going to do. Please include in your instructions what you are doing. Is this nefarious activity? I don't know. Is this going to help solve my situation. I don't know. While I understand how to open and use terminal. I don't know what most/all of the commands do and would appreciate a little more explaination so I can start to understand what I am doing. Not just copying and pasting some commands that are given to me. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1129908 Title: touchpad problems To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1129908/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
