The bug is caused by regression in gvfs, that changes the value of exit-on-close property of DBusConnection object to false. It only affects gvfs in Quantal. The version in Raring already has the new upstream version which corrects it. See https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=687074
The only proper fix is to backport the fix for gvfs. ** Bug watch added: GNOME Bug Tracker #687074 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=687074 ** Also affects: gvfs via https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=687074 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Changed in: unity-lens-music Assignee: Pawel Stolowski (stolowski) => (unassigned) ** Changed in: unity-lens-applications Assignee: Pawel Stolowski (stolowski) => (unassigned) ** Changed in: unity-lens-files Assignee: Pawel Stolowski (stolowski) => (unassigned) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1072508 Title: lens process keep running after logout To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gvfs/+bug/1072508/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
