Public bug reported:
When ever I try to play a mp3 file from a samba share mounted via cifs-
vfs (mount.cifs .. or mount -t cifs ...), audacious refuses playing.
Instead, I get the error message: "lseek failed: Invalid argument".
Other Players (VLC, Totem and others) work fine with the same file.
Local mp3 files and remote files mounted via GVFS are well played by
audacious. Files mountet with the parameter "directio" via cifs-vfs are
played, but the error message is still appearing.
Versions: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS with audacious 3.2.1-2 and Xubuntu 12.10 with
audacious 3.2.3-1
