** Description changed:

  Steps to reproduce:
- 1) Mount a vfat file system in a flash drive containing image(s) that have
file name extension describing the file format written in capital letters such
as "invisible.JPEG".
+ 1) Mount a vfat file system in a flash drive containing image(s) that have at
least one capital letter in its file name extension describing its file format,
e.g. "invisible.Jpg".
  2) In terminal start geeqie with path to an image file in the flash drive as
an argument.

I expect to have the respective item in Image list / Icons, but it is
not there, although the image is displayed in the image area. Image list
should show all images in the current folder.

Tested with geeqie 1:1.0-10 in lubuntu 12.04.
