Hi people, The package seems to work perfectly!
Ubuntu 12.10, "ID 138a:0011 Validity Sensors, Inc. VFS5011 Fingerprint Reader" device. The Pavel's instructions lacked "8.5 - reboot the computer" so the device could be detected (maybe a "sudo udev restart" or something like could work too).
