Public bug reported: The Avision backend has a bug which prevents scanners from being opened.
1) Attach an Avision scanner 2) Type: scanimage --help -d avision Open fails with an "Invalid argument" error message. The problem is described in detail in this bug report: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=706877 A patch to fix the bug is attached.
